In celebration of grey hair in pandemic

I was commissioned by Radin and Armin to bring together the visual story of their wedding announcement. This piece is inspired by Persian miniatures where the beloveds are engaging in a leisurely activity and surrounded by motifs of flowers, like a Persian garden.

From the introduction: By inventively visualising how our bodies and voices get amplified in solidarity, Rouzbehani calls us to embrace the strength of collective striking that emerges from caring for one another and for the diverse lives that compose our societies.

The articles and the illustration show care in dialogue with various kinds of work – the work of organising, work in higher education, work of care provision and, indeed, refusal of work – and the conflicts that may emerge from within.
